For precise frame-by-frame control, drag your finger directly on the video. You can also use SnapStills Suggestions feature to find great moments to snap; to hide the Suggestions bar, simply push up on the video. To reveal it again, pull down.
If youve upgraded to iOS 8, you can even use SnapStill directly within the Photos app—just pick a video and select the SnapStill extension.

Folks who have issues with their iPad and this (or any other) app are well advised to restart, reset or restore their iPads before making performance conclusions.

Some bad moments
It crashed when i try to snap a video, it does not work at all!
You have me shopping for a new app that will do what your old version did. Where did the video play button go. I cant delete a photo I accidentally snapped in the app. I cant view all my snaps in one screen all by themselves. Go back in time a rerelease the older version or I am so gone and moving on. Totally unpleased.
The app feezes and gives me an error that its unable to grab the still. I then have to close the app. Regular video works. Devs please look into this.
Such a quick way to scan a number of videos and pick perfect shots. Suggestions useful but also love that I can easily scan frame by frame and pick my own shots.
Much higher resolution than using the built in snapshot feature of IOS. Small footprint, great recommendations, FAST!
This app is awesome! There are many times my kids and pets wont sit still so I video them and I am able to go through the video and get all the good shots!! With the clarity of a photo and the ease, and it way easier than trying to screen shot a picture from my videos!! Its great!!
